Eagle Shawn Gibbs class of 1997 at NCCU was warmly introduced to Fort Valley State University Staff, Alumni and Students by NCCU Atlanta Alumni Chapter President, Kevin Powell, on March 29, 2022. A Meet and Greet Reception was Hosted by the FVSU Athletics Department, NCCU Alumni Mr. Ira Foster, Esq., Dr. Donna Bellamy and NCCU Atlanta Alumni Chapter.
Several NCCU Atlanta Alumni Chapter members from Atlanta attended the reception. President Kevin Powell gave the Welcome and gifted a NCCU Binder/Note Pad to Coach Gibbs on behalf of the Alumni Chapter.
NCCU Atlanta Alumni members are looking forward to continuing to support Coach Gibbs at future football games especially when the team travels to Atlanta to play Clark Atlanta and Morehouse and travel to FVSU to attend home games.
NCCU Atlanta Alumni Chapter wishes Coach Shawn Gibbs and the FVSU Football team much success as he embarks on his first year as a Head Football College Coach.
